The 325th Force Support Squadron hosted their annual Daddy Daughter Dance at the Horizons Community Center, Sept. 29, 2017.

Approximately 200 attendees came out to enjoy food, dancing and, most importantly, quality time with one another.

“This event is held every year so those in attendance can spend quality time and have a memorable experience together,” said Brian Antoine, 325th FSS Tyndall Club manager.

The theme for this year’s event was “A Princess’ Ball.” The event included dance lessons, photo booth sessions, dinner and dessert.

“We had a lot of fun tonight,” said Staff Sgt. Mario Gonzalez, 325th Logistics Readiness Squadron material manager and event participant. “My daughter and I enjoyed dressing up for the occasion and being able to dance the night away.”

During the event, every princess who attended was given a corsage and tiara to complement their formal attire.

“This is a very fun event for both the Airmen and their daughters,” said Antoine. “I have been a part of many of these father and daughter dances, and to see the excitement on the daughters’ faces who are all dressed up, and how proud their dads are to be out with their daughters, is priceless.”

Events such as the annual Daddy Daughter Dance are important because it gives military fathers the opportunity to be a strong father figure and positive role model for their daughters, said Master Sgt. James Rollins, 325th FSS career assistance advisor and event participant.
