TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --

Flu season is upon us and Tyndall Airmen can receive their yearly flu shot from the 325th Medical Group.

All DOD TRICARE beneficiaries can get their vaccines at the 325th Medical Group.

Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Every flu season is different, and influenza infection can affect people differently, but millions of people get the flu every year, hundreds of thousands of people are hospitalized and thousands, sometimes tens of thousands, of people die from flu-related causes each year.

The best way to prevent seasonal flu is to get an annual flu shot.

Team Tyndall can also receive their immunization during the following days according to squadron.

October 31

325th Operation Support Squadron Bldg. 229 from 12 – 1 p.m. and 2 – 3 p.m.

November 2

337th Air Control Squadron Auditorium 7:30 – 10 a.m.

November 3

325th Maintenance Squadron Hangar 43 from 6 – 8 a.m. and 2 – 4 p.m.

November 7

Child Development Center 1 – 2 p.m.
