5/24/2011 - TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tyndall Air Force Base hosted the Battle of the Bays golf tournament for approximately 68 people May 20. Tyndall members competed against members from the Port St. Joe Country Club. The golf outing is a community outreach event that is held twice a year. The competition consisted of approximately 34 teams of two Tyndall members playing against two Port St. Joe Country Club members. Whichever golf course had the most winning pairs at the end of the tournament won the event. The winning team gets the privilege of keeping the trophy until the next Battle of the Bays tournament. Team Tyndall was the winner of this year's tournament.
