Tyndall hosts TRICARE briefing

10/12/2012 - TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 325th Medical Group is scheduled to host the semi-annual TRICARE briefing at 1 p.m. Oct. 17.
The briefing will be held in the Eagle conference room on the third floor of the clinic (Building 1465) and is open to anyone with access to the installation.
"We talk about all topics, beginning with TRICARE standard, prime, and extra," said Judy Patrick, TRICARE service representative. "We cover the pharmacy benefit, dental, portability, and TRICARE for life. The purpose of the briefing is to educate and inform all beneficiaries of how our programs work, including claims processing, where to go for help and just to let them know we are here."
The target audience is all TRICARE beneficiaries. For those who cannot attend, there are several other options.
"We have daily briefings and one-on-ones," Patrick said. "There is no appointment necessary. We accept walk-ins Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m."
