  • A Defender’s example, builds a stronger force

    Whether it’s guarding the Installation of the Future, monitoring the flight line or protecting high valued assets, the 325th Security Forces Squadron is always on guard. Air Force military police, otherwise known as Defenders, play a huge role in installation security and mission readiness. One particular Team Tyndall Defender, Tech. Sgt. Sameerah Epps, 325th SFS flight sergeant, goes above and beyond to fulfill the Security Forces mission, while also setting an example for the Airmen below her.
  • Taming a Raptor; an F-22 crew chief’s mission

    The 325th Fighter Wing recently mobilized more than 250 personnel to Naval Air Station Key West, Florida, in July, to support the F-22 Formal Training Unit capstone where student pilots participate in dissimilar air combat training. Fourteen F-22 Raptors assigned to the 43d Fighter Squadron are flying for this training exercise. While the Raptor is a leading catalyst in the Air Force’s ability to provide decisive air dominance, tactical aircraft maintainers ensure the mission’s success.
  • Women's History Month: 1st Lt. "Claw" Pennell

    As we journey through #WomensHistoryMonth, we would like to introduce another one of #TeamTyndall’s strong female Airmen. 1st Lt. “Claw” Pennell, 2nd Fighter Training Squadron chief of training, has been in the Air Force for just over three years. Tyndall is her first assignment where she has been flying T-38 Talons since April of 2020.
