Volunteers teach beach patrons about threatened bird species by posting informational signs near sensitive nesting grounds explaining why it is so important to conserve them. The Least Tern, American Oyster Catcher, Snowy Plover, Black Skimmer, and other shorebirds migrate to Tyndall AFB and the Panama City area for nesting, laying and hatching of their eggs.
