TO REQUEST PUBLIC AFFAIRS COVERAGE SUPPORT, VISIT P3 HERE AND PLEASE REFER BELOW

PA resources are critical to support our mission, defend our base from information threats, conduct global influence and deterrence, enhance Airmen morale and readiness, and develop public trust and support. It is imperative that these finite resources be applied toward activities which most directly align with wing, MAJCOM, and Air Force priorities.

We’re here to tell the Tyndall story! Here are some examples of events we support:

  • Historical/mission documentation, exercises, DV visits, volunteer and environmental projects, wing-level official recognition programs, and other events that support mission requirements.
  • *Promotions, retirements and change of command

Photo and video support are available based on the commander's priorities, essential mission tasks, urgency, mission impact, agencies supported and resources available.

*Some limitations may apply to our support. To see the full prioritization check out our Tyndall AFB PA Narratives and Public Affairs Employment Plan’s priority matrix

Examples of our coverage parameters from the Tyndall AFB PA’s Employment Plan:

  • Group Photos. Units at the squadron-level and above are authorized one group photo per command (generally every two years). Units are responsible for coordinating all necessary support (flightline access, lifts or stands, building access, etc.). Members in formation photos must comply with uniform standards and reflect a professional military image.
  • Awards. Coverage of awards are limited to award winners at the wing level and above.

DISCLAIMER

Advance notice gives PA the ability to recommend the best solution to meet customer requirements.

It also allows PA to ensure the necessary equipment and personnel are available. Failure to coordinate in advance will reduce the likelihood that the event will receive PA support.

However, photo and video cameras are available for self-help use on a first-come, first-served basis when the PA staff is already scheduled to support higher or equal priority tasks.
