Colonel RONALD L. PIERI

Colonel Ronald (Ron) L. Pieri is the Commander of the 325th Mission Support Group, 325th Fighter Wing, Air Combat Command, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. The group provides support to the 325th Fighter Wing, First Air Force (Air Forces Northern), 601st Air Operations Center, 53d Weapons Evaluation Group, AFCEC, 337th Air Control Squadron and Silver Flag. The wing provides support to more than 23,000 Airmen, civilians, contractors and their families in more than 1,700 facilities on 29,000 acres.

The group is responsible for civil engineering, security, communications, manpower, personnel, services, contracting, supply, fuels, logistics, and transportation support for 23,000 active duty guard, reserve, civilian, contractor, dependent and retired personnel.

Colonel Pieri entered the Air Force as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. After receiving his commission, he received a Master of Engineering Degree from the University of Florida in 1998. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. Colonel Pieri has extensive deployment experience. He has served in Iraq four times, Afghanistan twice and performed airfield pavement evaluations and RED HORSE projects throughout Europe, the Gulf States and Africa.
