  • Tyndall honors Defenders with Police Week

  • K-9 Veterans Day celebrated at Tyndall AFB

    Tyndall Air Force Base has worked tirelessly for the past 15 months to rebuild the base since the damage and destruction caused by a Category 5 hurricane in 2018. One of the biggest challenges Airmen and civilian employees face is getting back to a new normal. The 325th Security Forces Squadron’s military working dog unit is no different. March 13 is K-9 Veterans Day and to commemorate the unofficial holiday, the 325th SFS MWD section put a few of their dogs to the test to demonstrate the capabilities of both dog and handler.
  • 325th SFS MWD: Strengthened through adversity

    In October of 2018, Tyndall Air Force Base and the surrounding community were ravaged by a Category 5 hurricane. Anticipating the extreme danger and destruction awaiting the base, Tyndall personnel were evacuated and scattered across the southeast looking for safe haven. They waited for the storm to pass, not knowing what they would return to, or if they’d be able to return at all.
