COMMAND CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT RAYMOND F. DEVITE JR

Chief Master Sgt. Raymond F. DeVite, Jr. is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 325th Fighter Wing, Air Combat Command, Tyndall AFB, Fla. The wing consists of more than 4,000 personnel who train and prepare F-22 pilots, intelligence officers, maintainers, and other support specialties for worldwide assignment to combat air force units. In his capacity he advises the commander on training, readiness, effective utilization and progression of all Airmen. He ensures the wing commander's policies are understood and executed and also maintains liaison with civilian community leaders and provides recommendations to the wing's group and squadron commanders, joint service commanders, key staff members, and senior enlisted on behalf of Tyndall's enlisted force.

Chief DeVite grew up in New Bedford, Penn., and entered the Air Force in July 1986 as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Technician. He has served in a variety of assignments within aircraft maintenance across several commands with 10 deployments to the AOR. Prior to his assignment at Tyndall AFB, he was the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 47th Flying Training Wing, Laughlin AFB, Texas.
