COLONEL MARC A LUIKEN

Col. Marc A. Luiken is commander, 325th Mission Support Group, 325th Fighter Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. The group provides support to the 325th Fighter Wing, Headquarters 1st Air Force and 30 associate units in more than 1,700 facilities on 29,000 acres. The group is responsible for security, communications, civil engineering, personnel, transportation, supply, contracting and services support for more than 27,000 active-duty, civilian and retired personnel. The group also manages more than 1,750 military and civilian personnel.

The colonel is a 1981 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he received his commission.

Prior to assuming command of the mission support group, Colonel Luiken served as the 374th Mission Support Group deputy commander, Yokota AB, Japan. He has commanded at the squadron and group levels, and is a command pilot with more than 3,800 flying hours.
