Chief Master Sergeant Luke A. Lucas is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 325th Fighter Wing, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. He is the senior enlisted advisor to the Commander on matters influencing organizational efficiency, force development, health, morale, welfare, and readiness of assigned personnel. Chief Lucas leads a team of 3,000 military and civilian professionals to project unrivaled combat airpower for America while delivering premier installation support to 19 mission partner organizations and the 23,000 Airmen, civilians, contractors, and families who call Tyndall Air Force Base home.
Chief Lucas grew up in Kingsford, Michigan, and entered the Air Force in April 2002 as a Structural Apprentice. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles and has deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, SPARTAN SHIELD, as well as the International Security Assistance Force and Resolute Support missions. His previous assignments include service in Afghanistan, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Iraq, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, Qatar, South Carolina, South Korea, Tennessee, and Texas. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 355th Civil Engineer Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.
