Tyndall FSS hosts Freedom Fest event

 The 325th Force Support Squadron at Tyndall will be hosting a free day of events Freedom Fest July 4. 

“On July 4th, we celebrate our independence as a nation, but we also use this opportunity to celebrate our family, friends, and co-workers here at Team Tyndall,” said Barbra Medlock, 325th FSS outdoor recreation manager. “It's the perfect day to get out and enjoy what Tyndall has to offer; bowling, skeet, boating, swimming, free food and fireworks.”

During the event, the 325th FSS will open a variety of events to all members of Team Tyndall.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., families will be able to enjoy the following free activities:

  • Game of bowling and food at Raptor Lanes

  • One hour canoe or kayak rentals at Bonita Bay

  • Shell Island shuttles at the Beacon Beach Marina

  • Boat rides at Bonita Bay

  • Swimming at base pool

  • Skeet shooting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (must bring your own firearm and ammunition)
