The Tyndall Education office is slated to host a free testing event for military members Feb. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Force Development Center.

The event will allow Airmen to complete as many College Level Examination Program tests and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support Subject Standardized Tests as they can during the allotted time.

“CLEP and DSST tests help Airmen to further their education faster, especially when it concerns their Community College of the Air Force degree,” said Dawn Matera, 325th Force Support Squadron Force Development Center education services specialist. “Many Airmen only need to complete their general education requirements, these credits can be acquired quickly by completing CLEP and DSST tests.”

The testing event will also be open to civilians, however, there is a $20 sitting fee and $85 fee per exam.

Those planning on taking the CLEP tests must first register for the exam online at https://clepportal.collegeboard.org/myaccount.

Snacks will be provided for test takers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
