TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --

With the 2018 tax season in full swing, Tyndall’s Tax Center has opened their doors to help Airmen get their returns as soon as possible.

The Tax Center will be open until April 13 and is open to all active duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen. Retirees are also eligible to receive tax assistance. Eligible applicants can bring their dependents for tax assistance as well.

The Tax Center’s open hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The service is free of charge.

“Anyone interested can call and make an appointment,” said Erin McGlone, Tax Center volunteer tax coordinator. “Sometimes it works better if they have time to stop by to schedule their appointment so they can fill out a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance intake form. This needs to be done anyway before an appointment can be scheduled.”

The Tax Center is located in the Legal Office in the Military Personnel Section, Building 662, and can be reached at (850) 283-4681.
