The Tyndall Youth Center is scheduled to host the free annual Eggstravaganza event at the Youth Center’s sports fields March 31 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The event, open to all DOD cardholders, will provide fun activities for children, like a free photo opportunity with the Easter bunny, free Kona Ice and entertainment from a stilt walking, balloon artist.

“Our event provides unique family time, which creates a togetherness that helps build morale and family unity for the Tyndall community,” said Matthew Kuhl, 325th Force Support Squadron Youth Center director.

Over 10,000 eggs will be hidden for the event. To make the event fair for all ages, the egg hunting times will be divided up according to the age of the participants.

The groups and times are as follows:

·         Ages 0-2 – 9:30 a.m.

·         Ages 3-4 – 9:45 a.m.

·         Ages 5-6 – 10 a.m.

·         Ages 7-8 – 10:15 a.m.

·         Ages 9-10 – 10:30 a.m.

·         Ages 11-12 – 10:45 a.m.

“Eggstravaganza, the annual egg hunt, helps build a relationship between military families and base leadership,” said Tashara Mckinzycole, 325th FSS Marketing director. “Families are able to mingle and build camaraderie with other members of the Tyndall community, and interact with leaders that attend.”
