Brig. Gen. (Dr.) Sean L. Murphy, Air Force Medical Operations Agency commander from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, visited the 325th Fighter Wing Medical Group May 3 to have an inside look on how the group functions.

"During his visit, he specifically wanted to get an eyes-on perspective on how the group is functioning in light of the budgetary constraints and possible limited resources," said 1st Lt. Benjamin Cruz, 325th Aerospace Medicine Squadron public health officer. "He also gave a briefing to the 325th MDG leadership covering where we are at and a vision of where we are going regarding medical operations in the Air Force."

General Murphy also attended a luncheon with 325th MDG Airmen and civilians with a question and answer session. The visit concluded with a tour of Tyndall's Silver Flag facilities and a view of their operations.

General Murphy was formerly the 325th MDG commander from 2003 to 2005.
