Approximately 19 members from Bay County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Bay received a tour of Tyndall and its units Feb. 6.

Leadership Bay is a community leadership development program, which offers potential leaders a curriculum in community leadership training.

Leadership Bay members were briefed on an F-22 Raptor ground instructional training aircraft, a tour of the 601st Air and Space Operations Center, flight tower and radar approach control. The tour ended with the members learning about the 325th Security Forces Squadron and watching a military working dog demo.

"This is always a great tour for our Leadership Bay group," said Mr. Joe Chavarria, Gulf Coast State College Small Business Development Center regional director. "As members of the local businesses in our area, this group was able to see first-hand how important Tyndall is to the economic development and the great way of life in Bay County."
