Air Education and Training Command recently recognized the 325th Maintenance Group with three 2012 Lt. Gen. Leo Marquez Awards.

Maj. Brady Poe, 325th Maintenance Operations Squadron commander, earned the Aircraft Maintenance Category Field Grade Manager of the Year Award; Capt. Arne Gjere, 325th Maintenance Squadron, earned the Munitions and Missile Maintenance Category, Company Grade Officer of the Year Award; and Staff Sgt. Phillip Thompson, 325th MXS, Munitions and Missile Maintenance Category, Technician Supervisor of the Year Award.

"It's a great honor and I'm extremely humbled and appreciative of the award," said Major Poe. "The team effort that goes on day-in and day-out is where these awards are generated, so I look at all of these as unit awards and extremely proud to work side-by-side each individual every day in our maintenance units."

Award recipients will go on to compete at the Air Force level.

Note: At the time of the awards, the unit was still an AETC unit. The 325th MXG will compete within Air Combat Command next year.
