325th CONS earns AETC awards Published Dec. 10, 2012 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Air Education and Training command recently recognized the 325th Contracting Squadron with four contracting awards. Lt. Col. Antonio Gonzalez, 325th CONS commander, earned the Outstanding Contracting Officer of the Year (Field Grade Officer) Award; Mr. Scott Brindus, 325th CONS, earned the Outstanding Contracting Civilian of the Year (GS-12 and above) Award; Ms. Nicole Dean, 325th CONS, earned the Outstanding Contracting Civilian of the Year (GS-11 and below) Award; and Senior Airman Joshua Estevez, 325th CONS earned the Outstanding Contracting Enlisted Member of the Year (Amn) Award. "I'm extremely proud to work with such an outstanding group of professionals in the contracting squadron," said Lt. Col. Antonio Gonzalez, 325th CONS commander. "It's an honor to have our squadron recognized by AETC and I couldn't ask for better individuals on my team. They do fantastic work and have a great work ethic and it shows every day." Award recipients will go on to compete at the Air Force level. Note: At the time of the awards, the unit was still an AETC unit. The 325th CONS will compete within Air Combat Command next year.
