Effectively immediately, Airmen assigned to Tyndall will no longer wear the blue service uniform on Mondays.

Col. David E. Graff, 325th Fighter Wing commander, issued a new policy to the base allowing Airmen to wear the Airman Battle Uniform or the Flight Duty Uniform on Mondays until further notice.

Recently, the Air Force's top leaders decided to allow commanders to decide what uniform Airmen will wear during duty hours on Mondays.

The blue service uniform and service dress uniform will continue to be the duty uniform for key players and honorees during formal ceremonies, formal public and civic engagements, and other such events as determined by the unit commander.

All military personnel are required to maintain proper dress and appearance and ensure all uniform items are readily available to wear at all times.
