325th FSS earns AETC awards Published Dec. 7, 2012 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 325th Force Support Squadron recently earned two awards from Air Education and Training Command during fiscal year 2012. The squadron itself earned the Maj. Gen. Eugene L. Eubank Award for Best Small Installation Force Support Squadron and Mr. Charlie Carr, Jr., 325th FSS community readiness consultant earned the Civilian Installation Specialist of the Year award. "The men and women of the 325th FSS work hard year-round to take care of Team Tyndall's Airmen and their families and it is great to be recognized for our accomplishments," said Lt. Col. Brad Head, 325th FSS commander. "I couldn't be more proud of my entire squadron." To Mr. Carr, earning the award isn't just about him, it is about his team. "I didn't earn it by myself. It has my name on it, but it truly is a team award. I work with an outstanding staff sergeant and team here," he said. Note: At the time of the awards, the unit was still an AETC unit. The 325th FSS will compete within Air Combat Command next year.
