Tyndall to host AF ball golf tournament Published July 17, 2012 By Senior Airman Rachelle Elsea 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tyndall is scheduled to host an Air Force ball golf tournament 8 a.m. July 27 at the Pelican Point Golf Course. The cost for non-members will be $50, for members $45, and for Airmen between the ranks of Airman and Senior Airman $40. The money will be collected on the day of the event and cash is preferred. The costs covers green fees, golf cart and range balls. Each player will also receive a voucher for two free golf clubs. The format of the tournament will be a four-person team scramble. The course par is 72. Prizes will be presented to the 1st place team, the individual with the longest drive and the individual who is closest to the pin. Additional hole in one prizes include hole four - $10,000, hole nine: Callaway Big Bertha irons, hole 12: sharp LCD flat screen TV, and hole 15: roundtrip domestic airfare for two.
