Tyndall hosted the 2012 Technology Expo at the Heritage Club June 8, in efforts to educate the base populous on advances in modern technology.

Approximately 20 vendors were showcased at the event, with each station exhibiting a different field of equipment thought to be of interest to Team Tyndall members.

"We bring vendors out here on base to provide a better opportunity for military members to see the products," said Jennifer Kochesfahani, National Conference Services, Inc. convention services manager. "The companies we bring are companies that would provide products that would help with agencies on base and their mission."

The exhibits were available for purchase by the base and government purchase card holders.

"I came to look at products for the Maintenance Group," said Tech. Sgt. Jenny Coleman, 325th Maintenance Group technical order distribution official. "We are switching from paper TO's to electronic TO's. I am really impressed with the products that are available. I have already made contact with a representative."

The expo also included exhibits such as fiber optics, integrated systems solutions, network data storage, communications, green technology products and video multimedia presentations.
