Tyndall AFB Officers' Spouses' Club (TOSC) announces 2012 Scholarship Winners

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  The Tyndall Air Force Base Officers' Spouses' Club formally announced the recipients of the 2012 Academic Scholarship Awards at an Awards Presentation and Reception, May 9.

The club annually awards scholarships to high school seniors and spouses of active duty and retired military personnel connected to Tyndall.

Seven award recipients were chosen from a pool of applicants, for a total of $9,500 in college scholarships.

Please congratulate the following scholarship recipients:

Allen, Kristen:
Kristen Allen is the daughter of Maj. (Retired) Larry and Deana Allen and is a senior at A.C. Mosley High School. She received the TOSC Excellence Award in the amount of $1,500.

Fowler, Michael:
Michael Fowler is the son of MSgt (Retired) Michael and Candace Fowler and is a senior at Bay High School. He received the TOSC Sand Dollar Award in the amount of $1,000.

Granville, Matthew:
Mathew Granville is the son of Lt. Col. (Retired) Downie and Gina Granville and is a senior at Deerpoint Christian Academy and is dual enrolled at Gulf Coast State College. He received the TOSC Excellence Award in the amount of $1500.

Kline, Kelsey:
Kelsey Kline is the daughter of Master Sgt. Kenneth and Christine Kline and is a senior at A.C. Mosley High School. She received the TOSC Sand Dollar Award in the amount of $1,000.

Paul, Oscar:
Oscar Paul is the son of Col. Ron and Joyce Paul and is a senior at A.C. Mosley High School. He received the TOSC Sand Dollar Award in the amount of $1,000.

Seaman, Chet:
Chet Seaman is the son of Lt. Col. (Retired) Keith and Janine Seaman and is a senior at A.C. Mosley High School. He received the TOSC General's Award in the amount of $3,000.

Wright, Justin:
Justin Wright is the son of Chief Master Sgt. Duane and Lorreen Wright and is a senior at Arthur Crawford Mosley High School. He received the TOSC Academic Award in the amount of $500.
