The AFAF was established to provide an annual effort to raise funds for the charitable affiliates that provide support to the Air Force family (active duty, retirees, reservists, guard and their dependents, including surviving spouses) in need. "The AFAF is really an amazing program, as it is not like other fundraisers," said Captain Arthur Aragon, wing project officer for AFAF. "The AFAF is specifically for Airmen by Airmen." Team Tyndall is encouraged register for the four-person scramble by April 25. Buy-ins for non-members is $55 and $45 for course members. All participants will receive a free lunch. The proceeds from the event will then be donated to the four AFAF beneficiaries, the Air Force Villages, The General and Mrs. Curtis Foundation, Air Force Aid Society, and the Air Force Enlisted Village. "This is a great opportunity for Airmen to give back to their Air Force Family," added Capt Aragon. "Our goal for this year's AFAF is to make 100 percent contact with every Airmen on base, with hope that proceeds from this tournament will reflect our goal." To register, contact Master Sgt.
