The 325th Civil Engineer Squadron, Natural Resources Flight, is scheduled to conduct a controlled burn on Tyndall Air Force Base  Feb. 7, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Prescribed fires are a necessary procedure at Tyndall which are used to reduce fuels and the potential for wildfires that could impact Tyndall's mission to "Provide World-Class Training to GUARANTEE AIR DOMINANCE for America!"

Media with questions about the prescribed fire can contact Herman Bell, 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs chief, at (850) 283-4500 or Tyndall's Command Post at (850) 283-2155.
