Students from Class 11-6 at the Paul Airey Noncommissioned Officer Academy formed a memorial run event in remembrance of Tech. Sgt. Daniel "P-Nut" Douville at the NCO Academy track, Aug. 27.

Sergeant Douville, a native of Harvey, La., was assigned to the 96th Civil Engineer Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. He died June 26 as a result of injuries suffered from an improvised explosive device during his deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

More than 100 runners participated in the run honoring Sergeant Douville. All donations from the event were given to Sergeant Douville's family.
