AETC leadership tours 325th Medical Group
Colonel Margaret Matarese, Air Education and Training Command surgeon general, greets Staff Sgt. Shirley John, 325th Medical Support Squadron, expeditionary medical operations team member. Col. Matarese and Chief Master Sgt. Marie Potts, AETC chief of the medical enlisted force, visited the 325th Medical Group recently as part of the AETC SG site visit program. During their three-day visit, Colonel Matarese and Chief Potts held an Enlisted Call to inform Airmen of various topics in the medical force currently under focus by AETC. Additionally, Colonel Matarese coined five 325th MDG Airmen for their hard work and dedication in their career field. The 325th MDG also was recently awarded an excellent rating from the 2011 Air Force Inspector General inspection team, and was awarded a full three-year accreditation, the highest rating possible, from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. “Our Airmen and civilians have done an outstanding job and we are pleased to demonstrate that to Colonel Matarese and Chief Potts,” said Col. Paul Skala, 325th Medical Group commander. (U.S. Air Force photos by Jonathan Gibson)
