325th Maintenance Group celebrates another year of success

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  The 325th Maintenance Group's Maintenance Professional of the Year Banquet, recognizing the achievements of the group and honoring maintenance professionals for 2010, was held March 12 at the Horizons Club.

Retired Brigadier Gen. Howard Ingersoll, father of Lt. Col. Michael Ingersoll, 325th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander, was the guest speaker for a crowd of hundreds of Airmen and guests. His focus was on mentoring.

"Tonight is all about excellence and professionalism," said General Ingersoll. "So how do you get to be an excellent performer? It starts with a good attitude, then mix in some good training, and a dash of good hard studying, then the needed mentoring from your supervisors and commanders."

Each winner was called up to the stage in recognition of their achievements and was awarded a trophy.
