Tyndall resale lot relocated Published Jan. 20, 2011 By Senior Airman Rachelle Elsea 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Tyndall Vehicle Resale Lot recently relocated from the parking lot across from the 325th Air Control Squadron to the vacant parking lot adjacent to the Class Six Shopette in order to allow for the construction in progress at the prior location. The lot has been extremely successful over the last few years. In 2010, more than 300 vehicles were sold. The lot is open to all varieties of vehicles. "Boats, RVs, trucks, cars and motorcycles can all be accommodated," said Mr. John Finelli, 325th Force Support Squadron community services flight chief. "The only requirement is Vehicle Resale Lot users must possess an authorized military ID card." The lot charges a fee of $12 per month; however Air Force Club members receive the first month free. Vehicles are allotted a three-month time limit in the lot. "Utilizing the Vehicle Resale Lot is an excellent way to market and sell second vehicles while preparing for a move," said Mr. Finelli. Those who are interested may visit the Horizons Community Center Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. or Saturday noon to 9 p.m. Customers must have current vehicle registration and proof of insurance to register their vehicle for the Vehicle Resale Lot. Upon registration, the vehicle is automatically listed on the 325th Force Support Squadran's website.
