AFAF kick-off Published Feb. 17, 2010 By Airman 1st Class Rachelle Elsea 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 2010 Air Force Assistance Fund Campaign kicked off Feb. 9 with a luncheon at the Heritage Club. "Our goal for this year's Air Force Assistance Fund Campaign is to get in contact with 100 percent of the active duty military members currently on base and educate them about what the AFAF is all about," said 1Lt. Joshua Walton, AFAF point of contact. "We want to show them how the AFAF helps both active duty and retired military members through various organizations." The program will run through March 19 and donations will go to the Air Force Air Society, Air Force Enlisted Village, the Air Force Village or the LeMay Foundation.
