AETC Command Chaplain to speak at Tyndall 2010 National Prayer Luncheon

Tyndall's 2010 National Prayer Luncheon will be held at the Heritage Club Feb. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Colonel Bobby V. Page, Air Education and Training Command chaplain. As the AETC Command Chaplain, Chaplain Page advises and represents the AETC Commander on all aspects of the Chaplain Corps mission and ensures AETC's chaplains and chaplain assistants are trained and equipped for global deployment.

Chaplain Page directs the AETC headquarters chaplain staff and exercises oversight to a Chaplain Corps of approximately 210 personnel at 18 locations in the command. He has significant deployed experience having served as the wing chaplain at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia, in 2000 and lead the largest chapel team in the United States Central Command Area of Responsibility during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In June 2003, Chaplain Page established the first Air Force chaplain ministry at the Baghdad International Airport.

Tickets are $5 each and must be purchased no later than noon Feb. 19. The menu for this year's National Prayer Luncheon is the "Hearty Appetite," which includes marinated chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes and balsamic grilled vegetables, freshly baked rolls with butter, and coffee and tea service. For special dietary needs, please let the chapel know at the time of purchasing tickets. Tickets may be purchased from unit Chaplains or from the staff at the Tyndall Chapel.
