Maintenance professionals of the year recognized Published March 19, 2009 By Senior Airman Anthony J. Hyatt 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 325th Maintenance Group's Maintenance Professional of the Year Banquet, recognizing the achievements of the group for 2008 and honoring maintenance professionals, was held March 13 at the Horizons Club. Lt. Gen. Loren Reno, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support Headquarters U.S. Air Force, was the guest speaker for a crowd of approximately 500 Airmen and guests and assisted in the presentation of awards. "If you are an airman basic, chief master sergeant or general, it's absolutely imperative we must have precision in what we do. If you do your job with precision, and I do my job with precision, you won't fear being held accountable," said General Reno during his speech. "Having a proud heritage is a wonderful thing, but being faithful to it is absolutely imperative. When you are working, be precise and compliant in what you do every time, whether or not people are looking - that's what integrity is." Each winner was called up to the stage in recognition of their achievements and was awarded a trophy. "These great Airmen epitomize the maintenance group's motto 'Safe, Disciplined, Professional,' and it's a pleasure serving with them," said Col. Craig Hall, 325th Maintenance Group commander.
