February is National Children's Dental Health Month, and from Feb. 17-20, the 325th Dental Flight team members will visit Tyndall Elementary School and present a program that will promote the benefits of good oral health to children.

Additionally, child development center students will have the opportunity to visit the dental clinic and get them accustomed to being in a dental office, which will help prepare them for their first dental visit.

It is important that parents and caregivers teach children how to brush and floss, watch what they eat and how often they snack and have regular dental examinations.

Children's teeth are meant to last a lifetime and a healthy smile is important to a child's self-esteem. With proper care, balanced diet and regular dental visits, their teeth can remain healthy and strong.

Even though family members are not seen at the Tyndall dental clinic, military personnel should do everything possible for their family's dental health. Military members can directly enroll their spouses and children with United Concordia Dental Program by visiting www. TRICAREdental program.com or calling their customer service number at 1-800-866-8499.
