The 325th Maintenance Operations Squadron was revealed as the winners of the 2008 Air Force Aircraft Maintenance Effectiveness Award, MEA, for small maintenance category in the Air Education and Training Command earlier this week.

For the third year in a row, the 325th MOS will represent Tyndall Air Force Base and AETC in the MAJCOM AF competition.

"The men and women of the 325th MOS have always strived to be the best of the best," said Maj. Richard Flamand, 325th MOS commander. "We are proud to have maintained this status in AETC for the third year in a row."

"We expect to win every year," said Master Sgt. Alfredo Brown, 325th MOS first sergeant.

MEA are presented to recognize the most outstanding maintenance units based on unit mission accomplishments, effective use of maintenance resources, innovative management accomplishments and quality of life programs during the past fiscal year.

"Our squadron has great communication and we look up to our leadership to get us prepared for AETC competitions," said Airman 1st Class Courtney Adams, 325th MOS information manager.

The 325th MOS manages all logistics officers and enlisted specialty, ancillary, F-15C/D Eagle and F-22 Raptor maintenance qualification training programs for the 325th Fighter Wing. Specifically, the squadron provides key maintenance analysis data, flying and maintenance scheduling management and flight line operations oversight. Additionally, it oversees staff support for manpower, funding, facilities, mobility and resources for three maintenance squadrons and 325th MXG staff.
