The Tyndall Tigers mens varsity basketball team fell to the Naval Station Mayport Hurricanes 91-84 Saturday.

With the three-game skid, Tyndall's record falls to 2-3 for the season.

Tyndall's early 10-point lead was short lived as the Hurricanes took the lead into intermission, 41-39.

In the second half, the Tigers went through a five-minute scoring drought, allowing Mayport to build a double-digit lead. The Tigers went on a late run to pull within three points with less than a minute left in the game, but Mayport was able to close the game out at the free-throw line.

Antonio Bazemore led the Tigers in scoring with 20 points, followed by Marqus Armour's 18, Marcelle Mosley's 12 and Greg Brown's 11. Dan Cooper added four assists, while Bazemore and Armour both added 10 rebounds each. James Milt led the Mayport Hurricanes with a game-high 33 points.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers will travel to Biloxi, Miss. Saturday to face the Keesler Air Force Base Dragons. For more information, call the base fitness center at 283-2631.
