United States Air Force Chief of Staff to visit Tyndall

Gen. Norton A. Schwartz, United States Air Force Chief or Staff, will visit Tyndall Air Force Base tomorrow. 

The four-star general will tour base facilities, receive status briefs from operational squadrons, speak to base personnel during an Airman's Call and participate in the 325th Fighter Wing commander's promotion ceremony. 

During the promotion ceremony, General Schwartz will offer remarks and administer the oath. The general will then join the colonel's family to pin on the one-star insignia, signifying promotion to the rank of brigadier general. 

The Chief of Staff will address Airmen of all ranks at 10 a.m. in Hangar 43. Individuals interested in attending the Airman's Call must contact their first sergeants to make arrangements.
