Notification for base building managers and housing residents Published Jan. 18, 2007 By Courtesy of 325th Civil Engineering Squadron 325th Civil Engineers Squadron TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Until mid February, the 325th Civil Engineering Squadron requests Military Family Housing residents, not in their home for more than two days, leave their heat on and set at 65 degrees to prevent waterlines from freezing. When a freeze warning is issued, building managers should check outside water faucets and set them to a slow trickle preventing them from freezing until the front has passed. Water faucets in common areas like the sports fields and outside eyewash facilities will not be available for the winter season.
