Tyndall moves to HURCON 2 Status

In response to Hurricane Helene, Tyndall Air Force Base officials have moved to Hurricane Condition level 2. This condition means 50 knot winds are forecast to arrive at Tyndall AFB within 24 hours.

Aircraft assigned to the 325th Fighter Wing have been safely evacuated. An evacuation order for Team Tyndall personnel has not been issued.

The installation commander has issued a limited evacuation order for Tyndall AFB personnel residing in Gulf, Franklin, Wakulla, Liberty and Leon counties. Additionally, Fam Camp will close by 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Our community should expect adjusted hours of operation and closures for Tyndall facilities and services on Thursday, 26 September.
