Just when Airmen thought the holiday season was over, the most joyous of days comes to televisions at Horizons Community Center - Super Bowl Sunday is drawing near.

Airmen are encouraged to attend the Oasis Super Bowl 50 event at the club, Feb. 7.
"The doors will open at 3:30 p.m. and the seating is first come, first serve, for choice seating," said Kathleen Turmelle, 325th Force Support Squadron Horizon Club manager. "Airmen and their families can come and enjoy the game coverage on the big screen and the 19 other televisions at the club. There will be a limited menu and bar specials of pitchers and buckets for those of age."

The club will be divided into separate areas for various functions.

"Ballroom A will host the Super Bowl Buffet," Turmelle said. "Cost to eat will be $13 for members and $15 for non-members.  Members who have children 10 and under accompanying them are free, non-members with children will be charged an extra five dollars. The buffet will be available from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Menu will include assorted pizza, cinnamon sticks, pulled pork sliders, taquitos, meatballs, a veggie tray and nacho bar."

Ballroom B game coverage will have the big screen along with two speakers to hear the game and as well as ticket numbers for orders being called. There will be 20 tables seating 10 each in Ballroom B and plenty of trash receptacles around the room.

Additionally, the Classics Room will be used as a kids room. This room may be used for time-out or just for a quieter place for the children.

Club members will get to fill out Football Frenzy Forms used to draw for prizes. These forms are also mailed to Air Force Services Agency. They will hold two drawings each quarter.
