The free event is open to the whole community and will feature lots of family friendly activities including authentic German food, pony rides, arts and crafts booths, bouncy houses and K-9 demos. "We are excited to host this year's Oktoberfest," said Daniel Albin, 325th Force Support Squadron marketing director and director of the event. "It has been a big hit in the past and the community really loves it. We encourage everybody to come out and enjoy the festivities." Last year the event had more than 1,200 people in attendance and more than 22 booths. "This is our 'giving back to the community' event. It provides an opportunity for private organizations to come out and fundraise as well as create a great family atmosphere in the middle of October," said Albin.
