Tyndall prepares for CCAF graduation Published April 29, 2015 By Airman 1st Class Ty-Rico Lea 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The annual Community College of the Air Force graduation ceremony, sponsored by Tyndall's Air Force Sergeants Association Chapter 553, will be hosted 3 p.m. May 15 at Horizons. During the ceremony, enlisted Air Force service members will be receiving their associate's degree after completing 64 Air Force approved college credit hours. In 2014, CCAF awarded a total of 24,154 degrees to 22,398 airmen. "There were 11,585 graduates in the April 2015 class, the largest in CCAF's 43 year history." said Ms. Evelyn Slaughter, Community College of the Air Force chief of education services. Tyndall's upcoming ceremony will combine graduates from Fall 2014 and Spring 2015.
