Tyndall's Gulf Coast Salute Open House and Air Show is less than a month, and the list of acts and static displays is growing.

On April 11 and 12 Tyndall will host the U.S. Air Force Thunderbird's Demo Team, U.S. Army Golden Knights Jump Team, F-22 Raptor Demo Team and U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight. Civilian acts include: Quick Silver P-51, Trojan Horseman, Raiders Team, Jelly Belly, Lucas Oil and many more.

Gates will open from 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

"The performers are top notch and they practice year-round to amaze spectators," said Capt. Chris Stewart, air show vice chairman. "Additionally, we are bringing in static aircraft from all aspects of the Department of Defense to showcase how we operate.  We will also have several civilian statics that will help to promote aviation in general."

Static displays of an A-10 Thunderbolt II, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-22, F-35 Lightning II, B-1 Lancer, B-52 Stratofortress, QF-16 Aerial Target, QF-4 Aerial Target, T-1 Jayhawk, T-38 Talon, KC-135 Stratotanker, WC-130J Weatherbird, E-3 Sentry, Mitsubishi MU-2, Starduster SA300, 737-500, Lear-24, Soko G-2, Civil Air Patrol Cessna 182 and the Cessna TTx aircrafts will be available for viewing throughout the flightline.

Due to the ever flexible nature of aerial acts the 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office will not be publishing a set schedule, however, the acts will perform at regular intervals, with minimal gaps in time, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

"We are looking forward to the acts coming out and performing their amazing shows," Stewart said. "Each act brings a different show which will keep spectators amused and amazed all day. The statics will also be available for spectators to look at, with the crew members available to answer questions about their aircraft, job, base and more."

Admission and parking for the show will be free, and security will be emphasized: no coolers (unless needed for medical reasons), pets, weapons, knives, glass bottles or containers will be allowed.

All acts and statics are subject to change. For more information, and a list of prohibited items, please visit www.gulfcoastsalute.com, the official website for this year's air show.
