The 2014 Combined Federal Campaign kicked off Oct. 14, and Tyndall representatives are collecting donations until Nov. 21 to reach the overall goal of 15 percent base participation.

"The CFC is a conduit for federal workers to invest in the lives of people who need our help and give back to the community in which they live," said Col. Derek France, 325th Fighter Wing commander.

The campaign is a federal fundraising platform that collects and distributes donations for more than 1,600 national and international charities.

"CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas, raising millions of dollars each year," according to the CFC website.

For more information regarding CFC charity brochures or pledge cards, donors can talk to their group and squadron representatives or visit http://www.northwestfloridacfc.org/CampaignTeam/KeyWorkers.aspx.

As a reminder, any other fundraising during the CFC is not allowed in the workplace. For more information on this, please contact the Legal office at (850) 283-4681.
