Tyndall Airmen will come together for a Memorial Run to remember the lives lost on Sept. 11.

The 1.7 mile run will start at 7:46 a.m. across from the base track.

Participants will form up with their squadron at the starting line, no later than 7:30 a.m. and make their first step to remembrance at 7:46 a.m. to coincide with the minute the first airplane hit the World Trade Center.

"This run is to honor the men and women who lost their lives due to the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11," said Lou South, Fitness Center director. "There won't be any winners or times announced. Everyone is encouraged to run and remember together."
