Lieutenant Col. Antonio Gonzalez, 325th Contracting Squadron commander, passed command of the 325th CONS to Maj. Bryan Lamb during a change of command ceremony June 11. Gonzalez will be headed to the Pentagon, District of Columbia, as the Defense Department Inspector General program acquisition evaluator. Prior to taking command of the 325th CONS, Lamb served as the Instillation Mission Support Staff Officer, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Contracting of the Air Force at the Pentagon. The 325th CONS is a multi-faceted organization, which affects every individual stationed at Tyndall. It is responsible for awarding and administering a variety of contracts ranging from computer equipment to multimillion-dollar construction projects. This office also manages large dollar, mission-essential contracts for aircraft maintenance, transportation, supply, fuels and civil engineering support.
