The Bay Chapter of Air Force Communications and Electronics Association and the 325th Communications Squadron will host the 2014 Technology Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 3 at the Horizons Community Center.

The event is free and open to all Tyndall personnel.

"The event promotes education, awareness and networking," said Lt. Col. Patrick Godfrey, 325th CS commander. "As the hosting organization along with the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association we would like to ensure this event is beneficial to all base personnel."

The event will showcase more than 20 companies displaying the latest mission-centric technologies.

"The expo is a way for the Tyndall workforce to see hands on demonstrations that can aide in their daily missions," said Lacey Livingston, National Conference Services, Inc. marketing manager. "The Tyndall Technology Expo provides a time efficient manner for base personnel to see the latest and greatest without ever leaving the installation.

"Government travel is very limited, so to be able to see live demonstrations on-site is very valuable," added Livingston. "The expo is a great networking opportunity and provides a way for new ideas and technologies to come together."

The exhibits are available for purchase by the base and government purchase card holders.
