Team Tyndall came together to recognize their 2014 high school graduates May 13 at the Horizons Community Center.

More than 40 graduates attended the event.

During the recognition ceremony, the graduates received a certificate of recognition on behalf the 325th Fighter Wing commander, Col. David E. Graff.

In addition to receiving certificates, base private organizations presented scholarships to distinguished students.

"Military personnel and their families may relocate about six to nine times during a military career," said Tamara Marler, 325th Force Support Squadron school liaison officer. "Many of these moves are completed during the high school years, making it challenging for a youth to become established within a school. This recognition ceremony allowed high school seniors and their parents to share in a more intimate and exclusive recognition with other families who share this special commonality of military service."

This is the second year for the event.
