Base Pool to open Memorial Day Weekend Published May 16, 2014 By Base Pool to open Memorial Day Weekend 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Tyndall base pool is scheduled to open Saturday, May 24 in correlation with Memorial Day weekend. The pool is located behind the base gym and adjacent to the Horizons Community Activity Center and features a deep end, slide, rock climbing wall and diving board. Open swim will be Saturday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Additionally, lap swimming will be available Tuesday through Friday 6 to 8 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. Season passes will be offered for $60 and $10 for each additional family member.
